Reports in Spain claim that Premier League side Spurs have already rejected a mega-money offer from Real Madrid for striking star Harry Kane.

It appears that Spurs aren't willing to let their star man go on the cheap. Spanish publication 'Sport' reports that the north London side have already received an offer of €200m for the England hitman, consisting of €175m up front and a further €25m in variables, only for them to reject the bid out of hand.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known to drive a hard bargain and he is thought to value Kane at closer to €350m.

The aformentioned source reports that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a huge admirer of Kane and has identified the 24-year-old as the ideal long-term replacement for the misfiring Karim Benzema, who could be allowed to leave the club should a move for Kane materialise.

Despite his loyalty to both Spurs and manager Mauricio Pochettino, it is thought that Kane would find it hard to turn down a move to the Bernabeu, with the player keen on challenging for silverware and playing at the highest level possible.

'Sport' also claims that Real could be prepared to offer Spurs Gareth Bale in part-exchange for Kane, with the hope being that the return of the prodigal son will be enough to convince Tottenham to sell their latest star.

Bale joined Real back in 2013 but has struggled to consistently show his best form due to a series of injuries.

English publication 'The Express' reports that Bale is keen to get back to his best and is prepared to move clubs to make that happen.

The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with moves for the Welshman, though neither side has yet to make an official offer.
