After another harrowing defeat at the weekend, losing 2-1 to Levante, Real Madrid are facing a barrage of criticism in the Spanish media, with lots of the flak directed at manager Julen Lopetegui.

Goals from Jose Luis Morelos and Roger condemned 'Los Blancos' to their fourth defeat in five and now it seems that the newspapers have turned on the side from the Spanish capital.

'Marca' declared that ''This Madrid are a wreck'' and claimed that Sergio Ramos was at fault for recommending the former Spain manager for the role. They also called out club President Fiorentino Perez for his lack of planning.

'AS' led with a headline accusing Real of ''Impotence'', but recognised Levante's good performance and the fact that the European Champions registered 34 shots on goal, with two hitting the woodwork.

'Mundo Deportivo' were more sensational in their approach, calling the situation a ''mega crisis''.

'Sport' were similarly pessimistic, claiming that the end if near for the manager with their headline saying he has already been ''sentenced''.

The club are at their lowest moment in years and it is no surprise the infamously impatient Spanish media are braying for blood
