Jordi Gómez, Omonia player, made it 1-0 against PSV with a great goal from his own half in the first half of the matchday 2 encounter.

Omonia went in front 30 minutes into the match against PSV. There was a surprise in Cyprus, but what was even more surprising was the awesome way that Jordi Gómez chose to make it 1-0.

Still at 0-0, a home player won a free-kick in the middle of the park. The ball rolled backwards and stopped, or almost stopped, at the Spaniard's feet.

He didn't think about it and, with no one expecting it, hit a left-footed shot from his own half that travelled with violence and great intentions towards the Dutch goal.

Mvogo, like the rest of the players, was surprised by the occurrence of the home player and couldn't help but stretch out and watch from close range how the ball lodged in the net.

Before the break, Malen, forward that Barca are following, levelled the match and made it 1-1 in the 41st minute.
