England manager Gareth Southgate warned in the pre-match press conference before the Wales game the quality of their striker. "We know he's capable of producing magic individual moments", the Three Lions boss said.

England boss Gareth Southgate recognised Wales forward Gareth Bale's quality, and claimed that he is "capable of shining on the big stage".

The England manager spoke to the press before this Tuesday's game against Wales, where both sides' ticket to the last-16 are up for grabs.

When asked about Bale, Southgate praised him: "It'll depend on the role he has, but we know he's capable of producing magic individual moments, not only in the box but around it".

Southgate did not want to talk about possible changes he will be making this Tuesday, given that England need to at least draw to be in the knock-out stages.

"At the moment we've got a lot of choice. That makes making the decisions harder, but you want is to have a fully-fit squad, and that's what we've got", he added. Southgate oversaw his side's training session this Monday, where 25 out of the possible 26 were there - the only absentee being Ben White who was out because of a cold.

What is more, Southgate confirmed that Kane is ready to play and that he has no physical knocks. "Harry is fine after the little knock that he got", he said.
