Aaron Long could end his long period of time at the MLS and he is thinking of starting a new adventure in the Premier League. Southampton would welcome him with open arms.

A total of 118 competitive games and seven goals are Aaron Long's stats for the Red Bulls, a team he could leave in January.

The experienced 27 year-old defender could make the move to England after spending all of his career at the MLS.

After playing at teams like Tucson, Sacramento Republic, Orange County Blues and Seattle Sounders, he moved to the Red Bull Arena in the 2015-16 season. Since then, he has been one of the club's most important players.

His good performances in the USA have opened the door for him to join Southampton, according to 'Sky Sports'. The South Coast outfit could sign him in January despite his contract not ending until December 2021.
