Son Heung-Min grabbed South Korea a consolation goal against Mexico with a stunning dipping shot.

Mexico were cruising to victory in their Group G encounter thanks to goals from Carlos Vela and Javier Hernandez either side of half-time.

South Korea were looking particularly toothless in attack but Son changed all that in the final moments.

Picking up the ball on the edge of 'El Tri's penalty area, the Tottenham forward cut inside before unleashing a venomous left-footed strike which fizzed past the despairing dive of Guillermo Ochoa.

Despite his wonderful goal, South Korea still fell to a 2-1 defeat and their World Cup campaign is now over after failing to pick up a point in their two opening group matches.
