ESPN' reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has three players highlighted in red on his list of possible additions. They are Nathan Ake, Tyrone Mings and Alessio Romagnoli. The aim is not to get all of them, but to get some to strengthen the defence.
Solksjaer wants a stronger Manchester United defence and the transfer market will be a great opportunity to do so. 'ESPN' says the coach has three potential newcomers in mind. They are his favourite defenders in case the management chooses to listen to him.
The first is Nathan Ake. It's no secret that the coach loves him. The TV cameras caught him after a game in which he had a face to face with Bournemouth. He went up to him, they chatted for a while and he let it slip that if he continues like this, they will try to bring him in.
The second is Tyrone Mings. He's an old acquaintance for the team's wish list. He had already been linked during the winter transfer window and he would cost around 11.7 million euros.
The last and probably the most expensive would be Romagnoli. He is also wanted by none other than Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. Therefore, Milan has taken action and would therefore be prepared to change his contract for a higher buyout clause.
