According to the 'Guardian' the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss was unhappy with the World Cup winner's instagram story, which showed him, Andreas Pereira and Luke Shaw laughing together after their team mates were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Championship club Derby.
The 'Red Devils' drew 2-2 with Frank Lampard's men in normal time, but were defeated on penalties after Scott Carson saved from Phil Jones. The footage on instagram certainly did not look great for Pogba, who had been rested for the second-string competition and Mourinho's anger was perhaps understandable.
However according to the report in the 'Guardian' the footage had been taken midway through the game, but due to the wifi recpetion at the ground was not uploaded until after the result took place.
The footage, now viral on social media, shows Pogba shaking hands with coach Michael Carrick and media officer John Allen, but then looking mystified after some evidently harsh words from Mourinho, believed to be a telling off about the aforementioned incident.
Pogba appears to make a gesture saying ''Who? me?'' which would seem understandable as the player was evidently unaware of the technological difficulties that the post had experienced.
The incident took place after World Cup winner was stripped of the club's vice-captaincy, with media coverage speculating on a rift between the pair. Although Mourinho has denied the allegations, it seems that they, for whatever reason, are not seeing eye to eye amid what looks could turn out to be a difficult campaign for the Old Trafford club.
