Arsenal beat Chelsea on penalties to make it nine consecutive wins at Wembley for Arsene Wenger. Here are six things we learned on Sunday.

1. Wenger favours a back three

The French manager looks certain to continue using a 3-4-2-1 system after Sunday's win served to bid farewell to the back four.

2. Arsenal can win without stars

Shkodran Mustafi, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey are all important figures on Wenger's squad, but they were not missed as the Gunners cruised to victory at Wembley.

3. Welbeck is back

The former Manchester United man gave a promising performance at Wembley and appears to be fully fit and refreshed.

4. Chelsea need additions to the squad

Conte's mood after the game was an indication of Chelsea's need for signings. The Italian was forced to field youngsters Charly Musonda, Jeremie Boga and Kyle Scott against Arsenal.

5. Willian did not dive

The Brazilian was booked for simulation inside Arsenal's penalty area in the first half, but the replay shows he was clipped by Bellerin before tripping himself.

6. Alvaro Morata is not quite ready

The club-record signing started on the bench and then came on to miss a penalty in the shoot-out. Conte stated he still has work to do.
