On the 30th June, like every other year, many footballers will become free agents. This year, six players stand out from the rest.

Iker Casillas (Porto)

The Spanish keeper enjoyed a successful season in Portugal from a personal point of view. However, with his contract expiring, everything seems to suggest that he will depart in search of a new adventure. The stopper kepts 23 clean sheets in 41 games in all competitions for Porto last season.

Pepe (Real Madrid)

The centre-back is set to leave the Bernabeu after six years with Real. Sadly he looks set to part on bad terms, but he leaves the Spanish capital with a third Champions League title to his name.

John Terry (Chelsea)

The club legend arrived at the club in 1995 but he must now search for new employers.

Dani Alves (Juventus)

His transfer last season was one of the most talked about of the window. After leaving Barcelona on a free he enjoyed a fine season (6 goals and 7 assists) with Juventus, who won Serie A and reached the final of the Champions League. Pepe Guariola is believe to be interested in bringing his former player to Manchester City.

Fernando Torres (Atletico)

Torres is the only player on the list who has the option to stay on at his current club. With 10 goals and 7 assists last season and hero status with the 'colchoneros' there are plenty of reasons to commit to a contract extension.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United)

The Swede had a great season with Manchester United before his serious injury towrds the end of the campaign. At the age of 35 he is still a top quality player, though due to his injury United have decided not to extend his stay at the club. Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals and laid on 10 assists in 46 games in all competitions last season.
