Madrid have already completed a total of six renewals with the latest of Karim Benzema, who joins Luka Modric, Lucas Vazquez, Nacho, Dani Carvajal and Courtois.
In addition, Madrid have managed to balance their squad and free up the wage bill: they have kept 25 players and raised close to 90 million euros thanks to sales.
Madrid have also signed a new coach, Carlo Ancelotti, and said goodbye to Sergio Ramos after 16 years with the club. The Spanish player has been joined by Varane and Odegaard, the latest to leave, and three loan moves have been completed: Brahim, Kubo and Chust.
In total, 14 deals that could be completed with the signing of Kylian Mbappe. The Spanish club's board is still working hand in hand for that fifteenth deal that will close the arrival of the French striker to the Spanish capital.
