The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, Miguel Angel Moya, spoke about what coach Cholo Simeone is like in the locker room. The Spaniard said he "doesn't commit to anyone" and was asked about Joao Felix: "If he does well, he'll play".

Miguel Angel Moya, former keeper with Atletico Madrid, declared on Thursday that the Argentinian coach of the Spanish side, Diego Pablo Simeone, "doesn't commit to anyone" and said on Joao Felix's return: "If he does well, he will play".

Moya wore Atletico's jersey from 2014 to 2018 and played 67 games with the Madrid team. During this time, he crossed paths with Simeone, who he knows well, and now has spoken about what he'll have to do with Joao Felix in the squad, should he return this summer after his loan spell with Chelsea.

"A footballer's journey isn't all golden and although there are players with a lot of talent, it doesn't always turn out well. In the case of Joao Felix, it seems that he does not agree with the coach, with the situation and that is something that has cost him regarding his long-term performance," said Moya.

"He has the talent to become huge because he's young. It seems the standard at Atletico was that success had to start from day one. Now, beyond what's happened, if he comes back he'll be more of a player".

"Beyond quarrels, if there have been any, he will start the season and if he does well with Simeone, who does not commit with anyone, he will play. Having him driven is good for La Liga and for Atletico," confessed Moya, during the presentation of Avery Dennison as a new La Liga partner.
