Diego Simeone's consistency at Atletico Madrid has been rewarded. The International Federation of Football and History Stats (IFFHS) have put the Argentine ahead of managers like Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.

This will be talked about for a while. The IFFHS have voted Cholo Simeone as the best coach of the latest decade (2011-20).

Ahead of Pep Guardiola (Man City) and Champions League winners like Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) and Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid), who win three straight Champions Leagues, the IFFHS have gone for the Argentine's consistency.

After arriving at Atletico in 2011, he took a struggling Atleti to Champions League regulars. He has won 203 matches, drawn 118 and lost 82, as well as seven titles.

A La Liga title, a Copa del Rey, two Europa Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups and one Spanish Super Cup are what Simeone has won in the Spanish capital. Losing the two Champions League finals to Real Madrid means he has yet to win that competition.

As well as Guardiola and Klopp, Max Allegri, Unai Emery, Zidane, Jose Mourinho, Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde were also in the top 20.

The full list for best coach of the decade for IFFHS is the following:

Josep GUARDIOLA - 144 points Jürgen KLOPP - 105 points Jose MOURINHO - 91 points Massimiliano ALLEGRI - 77 points Unai EMERY - 70 points Zinedine ZIDANE - 59 points Carlo ANCELOTTI - 57 points Mauriccio POCHETTINO - 56 points Marcelo GALLARDO - 56 points Antonio CONTE - 53 points Claudio RANIERI - 36 points Alex FERGUSON - 35 points Luis ENRIQUE - 35 points Josef HEYNCKES - 34 points Ernesto VALVERDE - 26 points Arsene WENGER - 25 points Leonardo JARDIM - 25 points Jesse MARSH - 22 points Laurent BLANC - 21 points
