Shaw out Rose in for United
Luke Shaw joined Manchester United from Southampton for £31.5 million back in 2014 but has failed to reach the expectations the world had of him.
According to 'The Sun,' Jose Mourinho is set to show Shaw the exit door. After only starting six league matches this campaign, the left-back's Old Trafford nightmare looks like it's coming to an end.
'The Sun' report that a swap deal for Danny Rose could occur this summer. Given that Shaw excelled under Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton and Danny Rose appears unsettled at Spurs, this transfer would suit both parties.
Both Shaw and Rose are out of favour at their current clubs and will be hoping for more playtime to prove to Gareth Southgate they deserve a place in England's World Cup squad.
Whether the two players swap shirts at the beginning of next season or not is still a mystery. The only concrete fact is that now is the time for both men to prove themselves.
