Shaqiri opens doors to Liverpool exit
Xherdan Shaqiri could be experiencing his last few weeks as a Liverpool player. His brother and agent recognised that he expects various offers to leave the Reds.
Shaqiri was on the brink of leaving Liverpool in the winter market, but in the end, he remained at the European champions. Something could change in the next few weeks.
"I think there will be many offers for Xherdan this summer. Already in January, there was a concrete interest from two or three clubs. Their names have already been published in various media and will appear again", his agent said in some words collected by 'Estadio Deportivo'.
Sevilla were one of the clubs interested in the Swiss attacker, although in the end, the deal didn't materialise. This could change in the next transfer window.
"Xherdan's situation at Liverpool is not easy due to several minor injuries that have lasted longer than we thought. I think he deserves a lot more", his brother and agent said.
In this way, and although he didn't leave a name for his exit, Shaqiri's agent has opened the door to a possible sale of the Swiss forward, with Sevilla in the queue.
