We take a look ahead to Tuesday's Champions League action at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, as Sevilla host Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Sevilla:

The hosts will be without key man Ever Banega, as the midfielder has picked up a one game suspension after receiving a yellow card in Sevilla's previous Champions League game against Manchester United. Sebastien Corchia will also be unavailable, as he remains sidelined with a groin injury.

Bayern Munich:

Jupp Heynckes will be encouraged by Manuel Neuer's return to training, however the German keeper is not yet ready for a return to action. Also absent are Kingsley Coman and Juan Bernat, with the pair both out with ankle injuries. Arturo Vidal is also a doubt, after he missed Bayern's recent thrashing of Borussia Dortmund.

Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella:

The Italian coach is looking to cause an upset against favourites Bayern. "Bayern are accustomed to scoring a lot of goals, to having the ball," he stated. "We have to do the same so we make them do things they're not used to."

"We've already made history," Montella continued. "We are going to play with everything until the end and we want to make history with the club and with our fans, who as always will help us."

Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes:

The German champions elect are not going to copy Jose Mourinho's reservde tactics when they take on Sevilla. "I want to win tomorrow," coach Jupp Heynckes said. "I'm not to bothered about how, I just want to win whether home or away. We can't play for a 0-0 because we saw what happened to Manchester United."

Heynckes also played down comparisons with Bayern's treble-winning side of 2013. "I don't believe you can compare two teams in football," he said. "There are different players and football itself has changed so I don't like to compare. We also still haven't won the league so we're looking to do that and then we'll think about a possible treble."

Did you know?

This is the first time that Sevilla and Bayern have faced each other in a competitive game. The only time the two teams have played was in 1992, when the Spanish side organised a friendly to show off new signing Diego Maradona, who had just finished serving a 15 month ban for cocaine use.
