Sevilla have appointed former Chile manager Jorge Sampaoli as their new manager to succeed Unai Emery.
The 56-year-old led Chile to their first ever Copa America title last year and was nominated for the 2015 World Coach of the Year, eventually losing out to Luis Enrique.
“Sevilla are counting on the best coach of America in 2015, who begins his first adventure in Europe,” the Andalusian club said.
Former manager Emery negotiated a deal to leave Sevilla despite being under contract until 2017.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked with the managerial vacancy at PSG after Laurent Blanc stepped down as manager.
The 44-year-old has won the past three Europa League titles with Sevilla and has the most wins in domestic and international matches of any Sevilla manager.
