The Madrid striker, Luka Jovic, and Manchester United midfielder, Nemanja Matic, will miss Serbia's friendly match against Paraguay and the Euro 2020 qualification match against Lithuania, according to Ljubisa Tumbakovic's squad list which was announced on Monday.
The manager, who was named in July, that he is still in the process of creating his team for the decisive European qualification matches, and that he wanted to give the opportunity to some players who didn't play against Portugal and Luxembourg in September, according to 'Tanjug'.
Serbia will struggle to qualify through the groups but will look to qualify through the Nations League in March.
Serbia will play against Paraguay on 10th October in Lrusevac (Serbia) and against Lithuania 4 days later away from home.
Serbia are in group B alongside Portugal, Luxembourg, Lithuania and Ukraine.
