'SER': Chelsea's Diego Costa to seal €55m return to Atletico
The Brazilian striker will re-join La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid, as revealed by Spanish program 'El Larguero'. The deal, worth 55 million euros, will be closed in the next 10 to 15 days.
The Diego Costa transfer saga is coming to an end. Following the tug-of-war between the striker and the London side, the 28-year-old will soon join Simeone's team.
Said source pointed out that the Spain international is closer than ever to securing his return to Madrid, with Atletico willing to pay 55 million euros to sign the striker for the next three and a half seasons.
Diego Costa will fulfil his long-lasting dream of leaving Antonio Conte's squad to play in a team where he feels wanted by the fanbase and coaching staff alike.
However, the centre-forward will not be elegible to play for the Spanish side until January, once the transfer embargo is lifted.
