Semedo eyes new challenge as Man United links emerge
Nelson Semedo has moved on from Wolves this summer, with the Portuguese full-back seeking a fresh challenge following the expiry of his contract.
Despite being offered a new deal at Molineux, the 31-year-old has signalled his intention to explore other options. Wolves boss Vitor Pereira confirmed that Semedo had made his wishes clear, describing the former Barcelona defender as eager to "find another challenge" after four seasons at the club.
His departure marks the end of a solid spell in the Premier League, where he made over 120 appearances for the Midlands side.
Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation. Semedo is known to have a strong personal bond with club captain Bruno Fernandes, and the pair's existing connection has only fuelled speculation of a possible move to Old Trafford.
Although no agreement is yet in place, interest in the experienced right-back is growing. With Semedo now a free agent, he is expected to attract offers from across Europe as he weighs up the next step in his career.
