This Sunday, Barcelona's 'animation stand' published a statement which said that they will not attend Monday's match against Cadiz. It is being done in protest at what happened at the Camp Nou on Thursday against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Tension remains at Barcelona. After numerous Eintracht Frankfurt supporters bought tickets in the home sections at the Camp Nou in the Europa League, supporters in Barca's animation stand will not attend Monday's game with Cadiz.

This group of fans, who are behind one of the goals, issued an official statement which strongly criticised what happened last Thursday when, in the Europa League quarter-final second leg, up to 30.000 German fans were at the Camp Nou.

"It was a day which will be forever remembered as the biggest infamy which has occurred at our home. It was as if we were invited to someone else's place. As fans, we have experienced a social humiliation which we'll never be able to forget," the statement read.

The animation stand protested on Thursday when they missed the first 10 minutes of the second half. This announcement goes completely against what Xavi wanted as he called for as much support as possible after the European elimination.
