Scottish Premiership matches are now being broadcast in around 40 countries more this year in comparison to last year.
New figures have revealed that the over 300 million homes worldwide are now able to watch channels showing Scottish football matches.
The latest report by 'Scottish Professional Football League Broadcast' have announced that a total of 102 global territories now have access to watch the Scottish Premiership. This is an increase of 40 countries in the last year.
Some of the channels that are now broadcasting the Premiership are 'Fox Sports' in Latin America, 'LeTV' in China and 'Perform Media' in Japan.
However, unfortunately the increase of viewers does not directly bring in more money to Scottish clubs due to the contract that they previously made.
