Scottish businessman John Clarkson has paid £150,000 to become manage of Spanish Segunda B side CD Tudelano.

The Scottish businessman has offered the club £150,000 over two seasons with the guarantee that he will take the club to the Segunda Division in those years.

If Clarkson achieves promotion, he will receive the money back and if not, the the money will stay with the club and be invested in the team.

The Scot does have coaching qualifications, however, and has all the necessary badges needed to take the job.

Clarkson clearly has confidence in his managerial abilities, given that he has pledged so much of his own money to the cause, but only time will tell as to whether he will deliver his promise.
