Juventus want to bring in Manuel Locatelli and have reportedly proposed a loan offer to Sassuolo with option to buy for 37 million euros. However, the offer fell short of convincing the side from Emilia-Romagna.

After fininishing in a somewhat disappointing fourth place in Serie A, Juventus are looking to bring in players for the 2021/22 campaign in order to once again sit atop the Italian throne.

Looking ahead to reconquering the league, the 'Vecchia Signora's have Manuel Locatelli on the top of their wish list. The player, after completing an impressive Euro 2020 campaign with eventual champions Italy, has been heavily linked to reinforce the ranks in Turin.

A potential offer from Juventus had been speculated over the last few days, and it appears that that has finally materialised. According to reports from 'La Gazzetta Dello Sport', Massimiliano Allegri's side have requested Sassuolo to loan the player.

The information states that it would be for two years and would include a non-obligatory option to buy the player for 37 million at the end of that time. Such terms which don't appear to have satisfied those in Sassuolo, who would prefer a firm transfer offer for a fee above the range of 40 million.
