Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has pleaded guilty to defrauding Spanish tax authorities of almost €1m between 2012 and 2013.
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has pleaded guilty to defrauding Spanish tax authorities of almost €1m between 2012 and 2013.
The Chilean forward avoided paying €983,443 on income he received from image rights while at Barcelona through Maltese company Numidia Trading.
However, Sanchez has paid the money that he owed and therefore is expected to avoid a trial.
A number of other Barcelona players - Lionel Messi, Neymar, Javier Mascherano, Dani Alves and Adriano have also been accused of the offence.
