Mohamed Salah's transfer value has increased more than anyone else's over the last six months, according to a study from the CIES Football Observatory. The Egyptian is joined by various Premier League players in the top ten.

It seems the only thing accelerating quicker than Mo Salah at the moment is his market value. Over the course of just six months, the forward's value has more doubled, rising by £66.4m.

At the start of the season, Liverpool's new signing was valued at £78.3m, meaning that even back then Jurgen Klopp's side had pulled off a bargain when they bought him for a fee in the region of £35m. However now, 33 goals later, Salah is worth £144.3m, making him the man whose value has grown most out of any player in Europe's top leagues over the last half-a-year.

The market study, which is based on CIES' unique algorithims, has produced a list of the top ten player value increases, a list which the Premier League dominates.

After Salah comes Man City duo Ederson and Leroy Sane, whose values have increased by £66.1m and £56m respectively. Next is Kylian Mbappe (£48.6m), followed by Gabriel Jesus (£47.2m) and Liverpool defender Joe Gomez (£42.9m). Paulinho (£37.7m), Tottenham's Davinson Sanchez (£37.5), Sergej Milinkovic Savic of Lazio (£36.2m) and Marseille's Florin Thauvin (£34.1m) make up the rest of the top ten.
