Saelemaekers extends his AC Milan contract until 2026
AC Milan announced that Alexis Saelemaekers signed a new contract until 2026. The Belgian has proved his value to the 'Rossoneri', he has already started seven games this season.
Not everything is bad news for AC Milan. After Brahim Diaz tested positive for COVID-19, the Italian side announced on social media the contract extension of Alexis Saelemaekers, who signed a new deal until 2026.
His previous contract expired in 2024, but this new deal is a price to his great performances ever since he arrived at San Siro.
Anderlecht loaned him out to AC Milan back in the 2019-20 season. He had some great performances and played a total of 15 games, so AC Milan decided to buy him.
He played 40 games in the 2020-21 season, and currently, he has been a starter in seven of the last 9 games. The winger has become one of Pioli's key pieces.
