AC Milan are considering a bid for Memphis Depay after Gerard Deulofeu was taken off the market, according to Tuttosport.
Milan hoped to close out a deal for out-of-favour Everton winger Deulofeu - who, in turn, looked set to be replaced at Goodison Park by Manchester United outcast Memphis.
But the Toffees have been unable to negotiate a move for the Dutchman and now look set to keep Deulofeu as a result, with Yannick Bolasie and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both injured.
The Rossoneri hierarchy could subsequently look to step into the bidding for Memphis, having monitored the ex-PSV star prior to the current transfer window.
