Rooney weighing up options for Everton return
Everton boss Koeman has already stated his interest, and it seems the 31-year-old may consider a move back to the club where his career began.
According to 'Sky Sports', Wayne Rooney could be willing to return to Goodison Park. The club saw him grow and rise through the ranks, as well as handing him his Premier League debut.
It is apparent that Rooney, who could be wooed by Koeman's offer of game time, does not count for Mourinho.
The recent praise from the Dutch manager could see Rooney switching sides at the end of the season. However, Everton are only one of an array of clubs looking to sign the England captain.
