Ronaldo and Kane come face-to-face in the Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane, the two men who are expected make their difference as Real Madrid and Tottenham collide in the Champions League. Both players are born goalscorers who will face eachother at the Santiago Bernabeu, aiming to get a result for their respective teams.

The master and the most promising apprentice. The insatiable Ronaldo against the unstoppable Kane. Two very different types of player with one common aim: to score goals. Madrid's Portuguese star and Tottenham's English striker will be the ones to watch in a game with much to look forward to.

It is a great test for Kane to see if he is ready to play at the highest level. He can't stop scoring at the moment, but a Champions League night at the Bernabeu will prove his worth on the biggest stage. Still only 24, he is already considered one of the most lethal strikers in world football.

On the opposite end of the pitch there's Ronaldo. Goals seem to come naturally to the Madrid's talisman whenever he hears the Champions League anthem. So far this year, he has only managed one league goal, but in Europe he has consecutive braces. For him, as for Real Madrid, the Champions League is a different kettle of fish.

The two players will come face-to-face after rumours which have suggested they will be lining up alongside eachother next year. The present star vs the possible future one, at the moment Kane is surpassing the figures which Ronaldo boasted at his age.

So far, Kane has 138 goals in 263 games, but his Portuguese counterpart didn't reach that many goals until 380 hames, which goes to show just how impressive Kane's goalscoring exploits have been over the past few months.

Since the start of 2017, the protagonists of tonight's Champions League clash have each found the back of the net 43 times, so Lloris and Navas will have their work cut out to stop the two forwards as they try to increase their tallies.

The focus at the Bernabeu, you would assume, will be in the final third for each side.
