According to El Mundo Deportivo, Roberto de Assís who is the brother and agent of the player has an appointment with Barcelona president Josep Bertomeu on Wednesday.
The two men will finalise the details of the club's double offer to the Brazilian:
Firstly, Ronaldinho will be named FC Barcelona Global Ambassador.
Secondly, he is to join the newly-founded Barca Legends, which aims to re-unite old glories of the club.
Ronaldindho, who turns 37 years old in March, has not yet officially retired from football, but his last competitive game was in September 2015.
