The home player entered with his studs on Azpilcueta to take the ball away from him but he didn't manage. The only thing he managed was for the referee to send him off for dangerous play. César, however, didn't have any excessive damage.
There are some camera angles from which it seems that the winger does not touch his opponent and hence the debate on social media about whether it was fair to send him off. The Blues, moreover, are one of the big teams in the league. Some Fulham fans felt hard done by.
