Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson gave an interview to 'AS' in which he did not assume that Mohamed Salah would be available for the Champions League final against Real Madrid. The Egyptian had answered "of course" to this question after getting injured in the FA Cup final.

Mohamed Salah is one of Liverpool's best players, so whether or not he is in the Champions League final against Real Madrid could make the difference. His team-mate Andrew Robertson, in an interview with 'AS' newspaper, could not take it for granted that he will recover in time. He also praised 'Los Blancos' and reminded that the important thing now is to finish the Premier League well.

"How do I see Salah for the final? That's a big question. I think he's fine, I think he's fine, but we'll have to see," he said. On how the Reds have gone from strength to strength this season, he said: "It's a little bit of everyone, the coach and the players. We've worked during pre-season to get ourselves ready for this kind of occasion, like the FA Cup final. We are delighted.

"Are we the best team in Europe? I wouldn't say that. We have won two domestic cups, which is a special feeling because, in previous seasons, we didn't do well in these tournaments. We thank the fans for all the support. It's unbelievable what they did at Wembley. We know they love to go down to London and, this year, they have done it three times and, in all three, we have won," he added.

Asked directly about his thoughts on the final, he replied: "Honestly, I haven't had much time to think about it. We have two big Premier League games remaining. But the Paris final is always there, everyone wants to ask about it. It's going to be incredibly difficult against the most successful team in the Champions League, we're looking forward to the challenge but we'll approach it after the Premier League.

Winning the FA Cup after having already won the EFL Cup has to be a morale boost... "It's unbelievable to hold a trophy in your hands but, when you play for this club, you know the aspirations you have to win a title. We've managed to win two this season and hopefully we'll win one more.

"The end of the season? We are excited, there are three games left and we already have two trophies, we have another final on the way and we are close, but not too close to the Premier League... We are playing for all the titles, which is where you want to be. It's exciting to win titles in front of our home fans and hopefully that will continue," Robertson said.
