Rafael Santos Borre wants to leave Eintracht Frankfurt in the upcoming January transfer window. As if that wasn't enough, the striker 'flirted' with his former team River Plate through social media.

Rafael Santos Borre has been relegated to the bench and the Colombian player has already shown his annoyance in recent matches. As a result, the striker could leave in January despite having a good relationship with the coach of the German side Oliver Glasnes.

According to 'Sport1',  Borre is looking for a different destination in the upcoming January transfer window. In fact, there are rumours that River Plate could sign him.

Last Friday, the player remembered the Copa Libertadores victory against Boca Juniors in Madrid. Borre uploaded the post to his social media and he wrote a short but emotional message: "Unforgettable."

However, the sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt Markus Krosche put an end to rumours a few weeks ago. He spoke to 'Bild' about Borre's possible departure in January: "We are not planning to loan him".

The situation seems to have changed and the Colombian international could return to his former home.
