Ritchie emphatically edged Newcastle ahead
Matt Ritchie continued Newcastle's rich vein of form in the Premier League, emphatically finishing off a fine team move to give the 'Magpies' a 2-1 lead over Arsenal.
The two English clubs traded blows in the first half as Ayoze Perez cancelled out Alexandre Lacazette's opener at St. James Park.
However, Newcastle took the lead in sensational fashion in the 68th minute after a great team move was finished off by Matt Ritchie.
Islam Slimani pounced on a mistake from Nacho Monreal, heading across to Perez just outside the box who then played it straight over to Richie. The winger fired it emphatically past Petr Cech to put his side ahead 2-1.
