Riqui Puig has a history with Barcelona. The midfielder revealed in an interview with 'EFE' that he convinced Julian Araujo to sign for the Catalan club.
"I told him [Araujo]: 'I think you don't have to think much about this move: you have to go there'," he said.
"It is an experience for him to grow as a player, and he is now at one of the best clubs in Europe. I don't even talk about the city anymore, because it is the perfect city.
"Araujo is a player who can give Barcelona a lot. He goes into free space a lot. He can come in handy," he concluded. The 21-year-old will play for Barcelona's academy until June 2026 and may get a chance to play for the first team.
