Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice admitted that his team have "dropped too many points" throughout the campaign, though he remains optimistic about their chances for the remainder of the season.

Arsenal's Premier League title hopes have suffered a setback this season, with the Gunners now trailing Liverpool by 12 points following their narrow 2-1 victory over Fulham. Despite the Reds' lead, Rice stressed that Arsenal's focus remains on controlling their own destiny.

He acknowledged the team's struggles, having drawn ten matches and lost three, but emphasised the importance of continuing to push for victories in their remaining fixtures.

"We're fully aware we're chasing them in the league," Rice told BBC Sport. "All we can control is how we perform in our upcoming matches, and our aim is to win all eight games left.

"We've made too many mistakes this season, but we'll keep putting pressure on them and fighting until the very end," he concluded.
