Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has refused to be drawn on reports of a move away from the Basque side in the January transfer window.

Arrizabalaga, who is out of contract with this current employers at the end of the season, has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish champions Real Madrid in recent weeks, with reports claiming that 'Los Blancos' are set to invoke his €20m release clause in January.

However, speaking to 'El Correo' whilst on international duty with Spain, the 23-year-old insists that he is not considering his future at this moment in time.

'My only focus right now is with the national team,' he explained.

'There's nothing more I can say other than I am a player for Spain and for Athletic Club, nothing else matters to me.

'Of course I know of the rumours, I can see them and hear them, you know they exist but I know my situation better than that.

'They don't make me nervous and I'm keeping calm.'

The Athletic Bilbao academy product has kept three clean sheets in 11 games for his club side so far this season, as well as keeping out Costa Rica on his international debut on Saturday.
