'Referee disrespected me', insists Neymar
PSG star Neymar claims that referee Bjorn Kuipers made a disrespectful comment to him during Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Napoli in the Champions League.
The Brazilian played the full 90 minutes at the Stadio San Paolo, helping his side to what could prove to be a very important point in the battle for top spot in Group B.
However, Neymar, who was booked during the game, was furious with referee Kuipers at full-time, telling the media that the referee should be punished for a disrespectful comment he made towards the player.
"The referee told me something he should not have," Neymar raged. 'It was disrespectful.
"I do not want to repeat what he said to me. However, somebody high up should do something.
"He cannot be as disrespectful as he was with me. On the pitch, we are asked to show respect towards the referees. We should get the same in return."
