The former Tottenham, Portsmouth and Southampton boss has insisted that he has what it takes to enter the Australian Jungle.

The 2018 edition of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' kicks off on 18 November, and among the camp mates revealed to be heading into the jungle is former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp.

71 year old Redknapp is well known for his excellent footballing managerial career which spanned clubs such as Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, and he has insisted that he is well prepared for the challenge ahead.

Speaking ahead of this new adventure, Redknapp told the 'BBC': "There's nothing tougher than being a manager of a football team when things aren't going well. You feel responsible, however many people support your team every week. The buck stops with you. You haven't got many friends when it's not going well as a football manager. So no, I don't think doing this will be tougher."

Among the stars due to be Redknapp's jungle comrades are names such as Nick Knowles of 'DIY SOS', actor John Barrowman, and X-factor runner up Fleur East.

In any case, it will sure be an entertaining watch with characters such as Redknapp and Barrowman on the billing.
