Casemiro's opener in the UEFA Super Cup final made sure that Real would continue their hot streak for another game at least.

The return of competitive football saw Real Madrid return to their usual level of clinicality in front of goal.

Casemiro was the man to continue Real's purple patch and ensure that they got on the scoresheet once again. The Brazilian latched onto a ball over the top from Dani Carvajal and volleyed past De Gea to give Real the lead.

With that goal, Real made it 66 straight games without drawing a blank, an incredible run which acts as a fine demonstration of Zinedine Zidane's side's attacking ability.

The last time 'Los Blancos' failed to score in a competitive game was against Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions Lague semi-final during the 2015/16 season.

The game at the Etihad was the last time Real's front line was kept at bay. but how long will the streak last?
