Brazilian prodigy Endrick, who will join Real Madrid when he comes of age, made headlines in the draw between Palmeiras and Fortaleza EC when he escaped a card despite punching an opponent.

Palmeiras gem Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid in the coming months, has been shining for Palmeiras in the Brazilian league this season so far.

However, the 17-year-old striker, who started against Fortaleza EC in the 35th round of the domestic championship, made headlines for a controversial action and not for his performance.

At the start of the second half, with Palmeiras trailing 1-0 to the home side, the youngster was involved in a tussle with Thiago Galhardo, who fell to the turf when the Brazilian prodigy apparently threw him a punch.

Surprisingly, the referee did not show Endrick a card, stopping the match due to complaints from the Fortaleza players, who had seen what had happened.

The match ended in a share of the points between the two teams, Galhardo and Calebe scoring for the home side and Raphael Veiga and Ze Rafael restoring parity for the visitors.
