Real Madrid and Gremio go head-to-head on Saturday night in the final of the 2017 Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi, with Los Blancos trying to equal Barcelona's record of three titles.

Real Madrid:

The European champions will hope to go level with their eternal rivals by winning their third Club World Cup, and they can also become the first team to ever retain the trophy. Cristiano Ronaldo will also be looking to overtake Pele in the all-time top scorer charts, currently level with the Brazilian legend on six goals.

Zinedine Zidane's side got an automatic bye to the semi-final, where they came from behind to beat an impressive Al Jazira side 2-1 with a goal from the returning Gareth Bale on Wednesday.

The French coach is likely to name a very strong side in his chase for yet another piece of silverware. Karim Benzema is a doubt after his poor performance in the semi-final and Casemiro may be rested with one eye on next week's clash with Barcelona.

Dani Carvajal and Sergio Ramos are also in contention after being left out in midweek.

Gremio:

The Brazilian side came to the tournament in Abu Dhabi off the back of their Copa Libertadores win, and they edged past Wydad Casablanca in the quarter-finals and Pachuca in the semi-finals, both with a 1-0 victory after extra-time.

The Copa Libertadores champions will be without star midfielder Arthur, who has recently been linked with a move to Barcelona, and Everton, who scored the winning goal in the semi-final, will be pushing for a spot in the starting eleven.
