Real Madrid turned down opportunity to sign Chicharito
The 'Blancos' have turned down the chance to sign Manchester United player Javier Hernandez for €23m after he previously cost them €6m for 12-months and only scored nine times in 33 appearances.
According to Football Leaks, Real Madrid previously paid €6m for the Mexican forward, but since Chicharito's move to Bayer Leverkusen this term his performance has dramatically improved.
Chicharito has scored 23 goals in 31 games for Bayer Leverkusen, meaning that if Real Madrid had wanted him back they would have had to pay the grand total of €23m.
