The Real Madrid players completed this Thursday their third training session of the week in Valdebebas and they did so with Rodrygo Goes and Daniel Carvajal training indoors. 'Los Blancos' travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna weather permitting.

Real Madrid have completed their third training session of the week. Under the watchful eye of Zidane, the players did training in Valdebebas and did so with two absentees. Rodrygo Goes and Daniel Carvajal who did work in the gym.

The squad completed the session following strict COVID-19 protocols, the club said in a statement. Real Madrid are now preparing for Saturday's La Liga game away to Osasuna at El Sadar.

The players began doing drills with and without the ball and then did fitness work. After that, they worked on tactics in groups and finished off playing matches on reduced sized pitches, the club added.

Carvajal, who did not train with the rest of his teammates on Tuesday or Wednesday either, continued training indoors after going off injured in the club's last match with Celta Vigo. He also saw his fifth yellow card of the season so he is suspended for the Osasuna clash anyway. Rodrygo got a muscle tear in the Granada fixture and he will be sidelined for three months.

Real Madrid will travel to Pamplona earlier than planned due to the snow

As the match is in doubt due to snow forecast, 'AS', says that Real Madrid will bring forward their journey to Pamplona to avoid the intense storm that is due to hit Northern Spain on Saturday.

Despite the fact they had planned to fly on Saturday, the club will go on Friday instead. Heavy snow is forecast for the weekend which could leave El Sadar unplayable.
