Back in the Champions League for the first phase, Real Madrid announced its first squad list. It was also Xabi Alonso's first for the top competition at the club. And there was good news for the Spanish coach, who has several players back.
The two big news stories were Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga. The Englishman, who underwent surgery following the Club World Cup, has now recovered and, although he will return gradually, has already been included in the squad for this first European fixture against Olympique Marseille.
Eduardo Camavinga has not played in an official match with Real Madrid since April 23 against Getafe. He has been struggling with physical problems that have prevented him from playing under Xabi Alonso.
