According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid have identified the two players that can bolster their current squad.

'AS' claim that 'Los Blancos' are hoping to bring in Kepa Arrizabalaga when the transfer window reopens in January and Alvaro Odriozola next summer, before the World Cup in Russia that both are set to feature in.

Kepa's Athletic Bilbao contract expires at the end of the season and Real's initial plan was to snap him up on a free transfer next summer, but both player and club want a deal done sooner rather than later.

The goalkeeper has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Bilbao for €20m in January, and Real will almost certainly pay it.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane will wait until the end of the season for Real Sociedad's full-back Odriozola, but the club do want a deal to be agreed before the World Cup begins. If selected, they do not want their potential player travelling to Russia amid uncertainty over his future.
