Those who started Tuesday's game against Chelsea in the Champions League did recovery work and Real Madrid returned to training on Thuesday with their eyes on Sunday's game against Sevilla. The Andalusian side are third and the game at the Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium kicks off at 21:00 CEST.

In a session behind closed doors, Real Madrid, who are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, had their first training session ahead of the Sevilla game.

The players who started against Chelsea - the club report - "did recovery work and the rest of the group began with exercises strenghening their muscles and several rondos." "Afterwards, the players did work on ball possession and pressing before playing a game on a reduced sized pitch," they add.

Hazard continues on his road to recovery while Marcelo and Jovic trained indoors at the training complex.

The muscle injuries to Mendy and Marcelo will give coach Carlo Ancelotti problems to cover the left-back position while Benzema and Nacho, who ended the game against Chelsea, had cramp. However, they were able to train normally.
