Before the return fixture in the last-16 of the Champions League, Madrid have to play five matches, the first of them comes at home against Real Betis. With this intense run-in of matches, Zinedine Zidane will be thinking of squad rotation to keep players fresh for his side's trip to Paris.

3-1 was a convincing win, but does not provide a comfortable cushion for Real at the Parc des Princes. The fans, Zidane, and the team all know it and PSG certainly have the talent to produce an upset. Now, the Frenchman will be turning to the subs bench to impress for 'Los Blancos.'

Madrid's next five fixtures are as follows: Real Betis, Leganes, Alaves, Espanyol and Getafe. Five must-win games if they're going to close in on Barcelona's hold on La Liga.

Zidane is known to put a lot of faith in his youngsters. Lucas Vazquez, Nacho and Marco Asensio, all supplementary luxuries at the Bernabeu, came on in the first-leg tie against PSG and turned the Parisians inside out.

Asesnsio was particularly influential. The number '20' caused endless problems for right-back Thomas Meunier beating him time and time again with his lightening pace. Now, the Spaniard is brimming with confidence and deserves more time in the starting XI

Now would be the perfect opportunity for the stars in Madrid to rest their legs and offer the stage to the next generation. Toni Kroos, who picked up a knee injury in Wednesday's clash, is certainly one of the players set to put their feet up over the next few weeks.

Mateo Kovacic looks set to be a like-for-like swap for the German in the Real XI, although others like Dani Ceballos or Marcos Llorente will be hoping now is their moment to shine.

Zidane's squad rotation will be crucial to ensure his side is fully fit for the return fixture at the Parc des Princes. PSG, on the other hand, are set to battle to prevent Madrid continuing to wreak havoc in Europe
