RB Leipzig have renewed their interest in Everton winger Ademola Lookman after submitting a new £22m bid for the player, according to 'Sky Sports'.

The England U21 international spent the second half of last season on loan with the Bundesliga side, impressing enough to convince them to lodge a £12m bid for his services back in July.

That bid was rejected, though manager Ralf Rangnick insisted: "We want him back and he wants to come."

Everton boss Marco Silva has admitted that Lookman is somewhat unsettled, but there is believed to be a place in the squad for the 20-year-old should he want it.

Lookman was an unused substitute as Everton got their first win of the new season against Suthampton on Saturday, having been left out of the squad for the 2-2 draw with Wolves on the opening day.

According to the aforementioned source, Leipzig head of recruitment Paul Mitchell is a huge fan of the youngster, having tracked him since his time at Charlton.
